NJW’s Summer Garden Comes to Life

After a long and dreary winter, summer has finally arrived at Goldwell House (and not too late!). Last week NJW got into the Chelsea spirit by transforming our tired, bland garden into a vibrant summer haven.

Our horticultural expert Debbie Taylor, one of our Project Managers, took control when it came to the design and organisation of the garden refurbishment, Gardener’s World style. She also had the help from our very own CEO Nigel Warrick and long term friend Gordon May, who got stuck in with the dirty work, labouring all day long through the morning drizzle and afternoon hot sun of 24th May.

We have used many different varieties of plants such as Lavender Hidcote, Allium Purple Sensation, Miscanthus, Alchemilla Mollis and Festuca Glauca. These have been combined in giant terracotta planters to create floral depth and a range of textures across the garden.

Our summer pavilion was constructed earlier in the year, and the completion of the garden has created a fantastic outdoor space for the NJW community to use.

We have just taken delivery of some rustic garden furniture to complete the look, where staff will now be able to network with their colleagues on lunch breaks and enjoy the weather simultaneously. Our clients will also be able to use our garden space for meetings and workshops for years to come.
