On the 19th September, Bethany Barlow joined the NJW team as an Apprentice Business Administrator.
Bethany studied Music for 4 years at school and college but then decided she wanted a change in career path.
Prior to her starting her apprenticeship, she worked at Costa Coffee for 3 years, developing many different skills such as using her own initiative and keeping calm under stress within a very busy environment.
After hearing about a friend working as a Business Administrator, she immediately became keen to explore this option.
In her spare time, she tries to find new music to listen to and go to as many concerts as she can.
Bethany volunteered at Hospital Radio Basingstoke, which involved reading out song requests for the patients and playing the music that they had requested.
She also spent a couple of days in London doing work experience at “Fubar Radio” which was exciting because she was able to meet and look after artists, such as Glen Matlock and New up and coming bands.
All the team at NJW wish Bethany all the very best in her new career.
