At NJW we feel we have a responsibility to support our local communities and charitable organisations.

We engage in various charitable activities throughout the year as a group and on an individual basis.

We fully recognise that our business has a social, economic and environmental impact and accordingly we have developed a clear Corporate Responsibility (CR) policy. This policy ensures that our business operates and has respect for key stakeholders in the wider community.

NJW is committed to maintaining high standards in all our activities. We have introduced a programme to monitor and control our carbon footprint, and we aim to lessen our impact in every part of our business.

Initiatives include:

  • recycling of waste
  • energy reduction
  • reduction of paper use through promotion of online tools and processes

Our CR strategy is focused in four areas:

  • environment
  • community
  • market place
  • workplace

This year NJW are working hard to support a number of charities including:

  • Oxfam
  • Cancer Research UK
  • Comic Relief
  • Macmillian
  • British Heart Foundation
  • Loose Ends, Newbury, Berkshire
  • Sport Relief

NJW CEO Nigel Warrick, COO Kevin Fitzpatrick, Anthon Dolan (Sodexo) Beth Barlow, Rosanna Woodhouse, Kate Whitaker, Jamie Catlow and James Windley will be completing the ten mile Tough Mudder Full (yes the longest and most insane variation) at Hemel Hempstead on Sunday 8th July 2018.

Please support NJW as we take on the Tough Mudder in Aid of the Brain Tumour Charity.
