All British cities will be negatively affected
We’ve undertaken new analysis with the LSE’s Centre for Economic Performance (CEP), which examines for the first time the potential impact of both a ‘hard’ and ‘soft’ Brexit on British cities in the decade after new trade arrangements with the EU are put in place. It shows that all cities are facing an economic shock, particularly places in the South – but that these cities are also best-placed to adapt to the changing circumstances ahead.
