Many, if not all issues in software products are addressed with a patch or an update. NJW Aftercare expedites the process of gaining access to, and the application of patches by working with the software vendor to break down the root causes of faults in these products. The Aftercare team are vastly experienced not just in troubleshooting but in the supply of information to software vendors to enable them to react quickly thus providing rapid resolution through the application of a patch or an update.
In most cases clients are able too, with the assistance of a member of the aftercare team, apply their own patches and this aids to an overall improvement in the end to end ‘time to fix’. In those cases where the fix is complicated or the client is not confident in his or her ability then NJW will provide a member of the Aftercare team to carry out the work for them.
Some software vendors provide bug fixes and new/enhanced functionality in the same package and often these are provided to the client free of charge if the client has a valid support agreement in place. In nearly all cases these can be complicated and time consuming to apply and in our experience it is best to engage the services of a member of the NJW Aftercare team.
