Trudie Jedynak & Chris Marsh - NJW Ltd
A welcome and introduction to the NJW VIP Assembly. Trudie & Chris will overview the events of the day, initiate the networking day and describe the various access areas.

Trevor Wignall - Pfizer
Managing a Pfizer Global portfolio of 47 million square feet with a head count of 83000 is a challenge for any organisation. Trevor Wignall will demonstrate the Pfizer GO Facilities and Operations Portal implemented by NJW.
This website gives access to facilities performance data for Pfizer buildings worldwide. The database contains live information about location, lease information, square footage, capacity and head count together with cost to own, operate and service each facility.
The portal gives access to this data cut in a number of different ways - by Division, Location, Tenure and Space Type - and provides metrics to enable the user to make comparisons between the performance of chosen facilities, on the basis of cost or space efficiency.

Mark Lindley - British Airways
Imagine a Web based technology solution that integrates with all types of database applications such as Horizon, Maximo & Archibus/FM. PropertyConnections brings together British Airways business information into one, central location in a consistent format enabling Property & Facility Managers to turn their operational data into meaningful information.
Stakeholders can run reports in real time, so they know the data is the most accurate at the time. More importantly, there is only one version of the data, avoiding confusion over multiple entries, or which is the latest up-to-date version.
So if profitability and perfect performance are the three Ps we're all working towards, then business intelligence can really help reach that nirvana. It will certainly go a long way towards helping companies benefit from British Airways vision that harnessing information is the way to make a company more profitable.

Keith Tabley - NSPCC
The detrimental effect of the credit crunch is not limited to corporate business but is also casting a shadow over the all important charitable organisations. The regular contributions from all market sectors are no longer attainable. As such, it is important for organisations such as the NSPCC to understand and improve their operational costs.
Keith Tabley will share his views on managing a multi located small to medium enterprise, the maintenance challenges, the need for business information and the introduction of (MIS) Management information solutions into a previous paper based environment.
The NSPCC has to work with limited budgets, donations and utilise volunteers but still enjoy one the most positive attitudes to Property & Facilities Management delivery.

Richard Willis - NJW - RWT Accredited Autodesk Centre
Richard Willis who is based within NJW Headquarters in Berkshire will unleash the power of AutoCAD 2010.
Using AutoCAD drawings we will during this session investigate the tools available that allow the drawing data to be extracted into tables, providing the user with linked information without the requirement of providing additional drawing information. We will also develop two way database links with drawing entities allowing the user to either select information within the drawing and call up the entry within a database, or select an item within a database and locate that specific item within the drawing.
We are a customer responsive, Industry focused training organisation.
RWTC Limited has over 18 years of Education and Training experience developing AutoCAD and CAD management training programmes to meet the specific requirements of our customers.
